Playing Buzzword-Bingo In Meetings
When certain individuals give presentations, they try to gain credibility and seem more 'current' by using in-vogue terms (often with little relevance). Staffers forced to endure this will arm themselves with special bingo-cards (featuring the buzzwords instead of letters & numbers), and the game is won by being the first to catch all the buzzwords and having a bingo card that has the correct orientation of those words (see bingo rules for card layouts & rules).
Example words & phrases: Synergy, Utilize, Accelerate, Critical mass, Quantum-leap, Enterprise 2.0, Perfect storm, Bio-break, etc.
