Biasing Vacuum Tubes

This is not an obsolete skill.

As a guitar amplifier technician, I bias power-output tubes on a regular basis. As long as they make vacuum-tube amplifiers, there will be a need for this. Solid-state is a long way from replacing tubes in this industry.

Still needed in broadcast engineering, too. High-power transmitters are tube devices.
