In my neighborhood, we used to draw a circle and each player put an equal amount of marbles in the middle. Each player took one shot at a time, to see how many, if any, marbles were knocked out of the circle. Depending on your skill, if you were able to knock one out you kept "shooting" until you missed. The next "shooter" took his or her turn. There are many other games for marbles
