This is not obsolete at all, How do you think the fish gets on your plate? This is not an obsolete skill! There are many outdoor enthusiasts, including my family, who go on camping, canoeing, kayaking trips and catch their own dinner. When the dinner is caught, it has to be cleaned before cooking. Besides it is not rocket science to clean a fish even young children can do it with adult supervision.
