Vantive was a client-server CRM (customer relationship management) package popular around the late 1990s. Perhaps the most notable deployment was at the call centers of nationwide ISP [[EarthLink%3Faction=edit.html|EarthLink]][[EarthLink%3Faction=edit.html|?]], and America Online. The company which made and sold Vantive was bought by [[PeopleSoft%3Faction=edit.html|PeopleSoft]][[PeopleSoft%3Faction=edit.html|?]], who in turn was bought by Oracle.
