Citizens Band (CB) radio is short-distance radio communication in the 27 MHz? band. It was originally mainly used by truck drivers to communicate road and traffic information. CB radio became a fad in the 1970s and 1980s with the accompanying jargon (“ten-four”, etc.) finding its way into popular culture.
