Riding A Rope Tow

A two inch thick, natural rope, attached in a loop to a powerful motor. The motor was housed in a shack at the top of the ski hill. Another pulley was mounted in a shack at the bottom of the hill. To use the tow rope, you would place your skiis in the two tracks in the snow, in line with the path of the rope. You would use the straps on your ski poles to loop them over one wrist and get them out of the way. Grab the rope with one hand in front and the other behind you. There was a jolt at the beginning as the rope first pulled you away. Hang on and KEEP THOSE SKIIS STRAIGHT!!
